A comic painting I did when I was briefly back in community college. I’m using this painting style for one of my upcoming comics. This was painted with gouache, sumi ink, and some acrylic ink too.
This took forever; why am I doing a WHOLE comic with this method? I’m a crack-head.

So. I am utterly pissed right now.
My husband and I, while we’re not really married, we’ve been together for seven years. We’re waiting until we’re more stable before we actually get everything underway. Well talk has gone out through the inlaws that we might be married in April or August. While that would be awesome, probably not going to happen.
My husband’s fucking brother said that me saying we’re waiting until we’re stable is MY cover for protecting this ‘flimsy relationship’ he and I have. Flimsy? He actually said flimsy? The man is married to his stupid Mustang! How dare he say such a thing!
What a wonderful way to start my husband’s birthday.
7.5 inches right now. Any hopes of me going out to run errands has officially died. So instead, I’m going to play video games and draw on this glorious day off.
What I said: Oh man, I still have to go to work.
What my husband said: Oh hey classes are canceled. I’m gonna stay home, wrap myself up in a blanket, have a cup of cocoa and watch the snow fall.
I couldn’t even find an appropriate tumblr meme to express my hatred on this one guys.
Oh golly this is a long one. Let’s see… when I was younger, I would write seriously old fan-fictions with my co-creator of the comic. We wrote an entire novel based on DBZ. Sky Avenue was really a joke in the beginning; I never thought it would go as far as it did. I did it as a… relaxing comic while I was in college. And a way to test out different mediums, body positions, etc. while I drew my serious comic. Anyway, the actual plot came from tidbits of these stories we wrote. Along the way, we’ve added and changed the plot around to suit the comic so it’s no longer like our stories but has grown into its own entity. That’s the long and the short of it really. I know there’s more I’m probably missing but that’s the best answer I can give!
